Simple but Effective Facial Exercises

One way of having fresh and young looking skin the natural and inexpensive way is to do facial exercises. Soon as you've started the exercises, you have to ensure that you can do it everyday until the time that you get used to it and then you can start scheduling it thrice a week.

There are many exercises that you can do for you face, here are some which focuses on improving the cheeks, eyes, lips and forehead.

Exercising the eyes

Your eyes can be stressed out with all the PC work and TV watching that you do. You need to relax your eye muscles and you can do this by doing exercises for the eyes. Simply sit down and close your eyes. With your eyes closed, look down as far as you can. Then open them and look as far as you can. Then lift your brows slowly and keep it that way for as long as you are comfortable.

Exercising the Cheeks

The cheeks are part of the face which is easily noticed. You have to keep them relaxed and practice exercises which will help avoid them from sagging. An exercise you can do is to close your lips in a relaxed manner and slowly make a pout. This exercise should be repeated ten times. Smiling exercise is another effective way to firm up the cheeks. Just smile and then count to five before you relax back.

Exercise for the forehead

Wrinkles are first noticeable in one's forehead. This is why it is important to give a lot of attention to this area when doing facial exercises. One can relax the forehead muscles by sitting upright and bringing the eyebrows down. Then wrinkle the nose for about ten times and do five sets of this. You may also lay flat on your back and stare up the ceiling. And while staring up, lift your eyebrows. Do this exercises ten times.

Exercising the lips

An exercise which can be done for the lips is simply pucker up and bring the corners of the mouth together and then count to five before you relax back. Repeat this five times. You can also close your lips and curl your lips into your mouth, hold it in and count to ten.

Facial exercises are safe and cost-free way of getting younger looking skin without the evasiveness of surgeries. You can now prevent the signs of aging and wrinkling even with out surgeries or cosmetics.

Simply by including these exercises in your routines, you can stimulate your facial muscles, achieve firm skin and stall the signs of aging.
